The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) new campus won the "Top State/County/Municipal Project" award at the Triangle Business Journal’s (TBJ) 2026 SPACE Awards.
The award recognizes the massive development effort to consolidate NCDHHS offices into a single, centralized location. Completed four months ahead of schedule in September 2025, Phase 1 successfully relocated 3,200 employees from 14 scattered divisions into a modern 10-story high-rise.
This is the first in a three-phase master plan. Once complete, the unified 780,000-square-foot campus will house over 4,000 employees to improve agency collaboration and public service delivery
