At. D.A. Everett Construction Group, we understand that we are part of the fabric of the community in which we live and work, and we have made a commitment to contribute responsibly and positively.


D.A. Everett was a sponsor of the Charlotte Hornets Foundation 2023 Hornets Heroes Gala The night was a celebration of community heroes who are leading the way in support of an organization dedicated to strengthening our community through grants, volunteerism, and player engagement. The Charlotte Hornets Foundation has selected four pillars on which to focus these efforts: Education, Hunger, Military and Wellness.


D.A. Everett proudly sponsored the 2025 ACE Mentor Program Raleigh Golf Tournament & had a DAECG Team member volunteer as a year-round mentor with the ACE program. Their mission is to engage, excite and enlighten high school students to pursue careers in architecture, engineering, and construction through mentoring and to support their continued advancement in the industry.


D.A. Everett partnered with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools – QC Readers initiative, a community literacy program that unites educators, community partners, and families to improve children’s reading from birth to third grade. Queen City Readers targets foundational word reading skills covered in the kindergarten and first grade years. D.A. Everett contributed time once a week to individual students from Governor’s Village STEM Academy for one-on-one help to develop the high-level foundational reading comprehension skills required to be college and career ready.


D.A. Everett partnered with Raleigh City Farm to clear an annexed piece of property of debris so the property could be turned into farmable land and installed metal trellis for climbing plants. Raleigh City Farm is a non-profit urban farm that connects and nourishes the community through regenerative agriculture in an effort to create healthier communities and reconnect city dwellers with healthy food production.


D.A. Everett donates to the YMCA of the Triangle’s Annual Campaign in support of the YMCA;s dedication to facilitating connections between people, places and services to address our region’s most pressing social issues such as increasing food security and closing educational opportunity gaps to combatting loneliness and social isolation.  The Annual Campaign gives the YMCA of the Triangle the capacity to connect, support and serve more than 20,000 children, teens, families, adults and seniors each year with programs and services that make our community stronger — that allow individuals the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.  


D.A. Everett sponsored the William Byron Charity Golf Tournament. The annual event brings together supporters, partners, and friends for a day of purpose on the course. Hosted at Charlotte Country Club, the event raised more than $260,000 this year, pushing the tournament’s five‑year total to over $1.25 million in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas and The William Byron Foundation.


D.A. Everett was proud to volunteer at the 2025 Charlotte Amateur Tennis Championship, held September 12–14 across four Charlotte tennis venues. The tournament welcomed more than 450 junior and adult players and raised funds for the Cynthia Graham Hurd Foundation in honor of the 10th anniversary of the Emanuel AME Church tragedy. We were grateful for the opportunity to support an event that celebrates community, competition, and Cynthia’s legacy of literacy and civic engagement.


The D.A. Everett team sponsored and took part in Make-A-Wish of Eastern North Carolina’s “Running Outside the Lines” Race. This 5k supported children with critical illnesses and their families. 100% of the proceeds were donated to Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina.
