EXECUTIVE ADVISOR

Toya has over 20 years of experience in organizational development. She is an experienced global leader in the commercial real estate industry where she has built out risk platforms, managed operational and vendor risk, developed and implemented global field savings programs within facilities management, as well as led global operations and programs implementations.

Toya works with executive leaders to increase diversity within the commercial real estate industry and drive inclusion. She has partnered with national diverse organizations and created commercial real estate development programs designed to increase exposure of diverse individuals to the industry and various career paths.

In her role as Executive Board Member, Toya serves as the executive advisor to the President & CEO. She leads the leadership team in strategy development and advises on business operations management. Toya also leads D.A. Everett’s philanthropic and community impact engagements, as well as press and media relations.

Toya is a servant leader. She is heavily involved in the Charlotte Community where she is engaged in economic development initiatives.  Toya currently serves on a host of boards and steering committees: President of the Charlotte Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, Charlotte Post Foundation Board, Johnson C. Smith University School of Business Advisory Board, City of Charlotte – Office of Economic Development Capacity Building Partner Committee, CIAA Business & Leadership Symposium Steering Committee, Women’s Business Center of Charlotte Annual Conference Steering Committee, Career Mastered Executive Advisory Council – Charlotte, Black Enterprise Magazine Entrepreneurs Summit Steering Committee.  Toya has previously served on the KIPP Charlotte College Send-Off Host Committee and Jazzy Holiday Gala Fundraiser Host Committee – Harvey B. Gantt Center.  Toya is also a sought after speaker, presenter, and moderator.

Toya earned her B.A. in Communication from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Queens University – McColl School of Business, Charlotte, NC.  Toya currently resides in Charlotte, NC.
